But what's for sure the change is sudden. I don't know if they gave out a warning though, but I sure am hella surprised when I logged in and they announced Pro is no more. Hence that's why I guess I was stubborn to give the new look a chance. Just pursed my lips, crinkled my nose and say fuck that. Wouldn't you be if someone comes in your workspace and rearrange your shit? Granted, you don't own the office or the building your office is in, but it is still your workspace where your stuff are, you can't help feeling violated.
Can they do that? I had a little beef because my hobby Pro account expired two days before the change. my personal/professional account is still under pro and expires 2014. While the incentive of 1TB to go free sounds quite nice, maybe for my hobby account, I don't know why I still feel like I want to flee somewhere else.
I tried to log in and look at it at different times of the day in different moods. I no longer feel as yuck you like when I first saw it; true it's nice to just see and scroll through without needing to click on the picture unless you need to know when and where it's taken, who's tagged in it and the comments or if the owner wrote more description about it.
I read the news there are surge of people who don't like it and threaten to boycott and delete their account. I did see a few people posting 'me likey' times three. It's based on your personal preference really. Is it more social? It is slower to go to the photo page just to leave a comment unless you think you must let the owner know how you feel!!!!!!!! about his/her picture. So you probably get less comments. The old Flickr on the other hand, I feel was far more friendlier. And I can't find where to check on how much space I've used. Some have even migrated to Ipernity. Another option that offers unlimited storage for free is Myshoebox.
